New Lens!! :D

Squee!! For my birthday, John got a new lens for the camera: a 55mm-250mm one I’ve been coveting. I heart the macro picture, but wanted something more…like something I could use to take pictures from across the room. To demonstrate, instead of taking one of the couple pictures I took from across the room, I actually got a really good shot of what I could do with a long lens like this.

Puffy Heart

That is one of our cats, Puffy. He’s sitting on a cooler (across the room!), and between us is one of our dining room chairs, which has a heart cutout. Completely would not have been able to do this with the standard 18mm-55mm lens we have now. And this was only at 100mm. I could have taken a “closer” picture!
