Fell in love with a boy this week…

Oh, what a strange, wonderful, surprising week. I was reminded how great my family is. I found out what a strong person I have the privilege of knowing. And, I inadvertently fell in love with a boy.

Good Ratio

When we went out to the Futures at Fenway, there were five adults to keep track of Ethan. The next day, we had four adults to keep track of Ethan as we went hiking to Purgatory Chasm. Those ratios seem just about right for a five-year-old.

From left to right: John, David, and Slippy. Ethan in the front, oblivious for the moment that I’m taking his picture. Purgatory Chasm, Sutton MA.

He Brought His Own Glasses

We both actually enjoyed baseball a lot more than we thought we would. Seriously!

John Swinging

This is one of those times where I love Photoshop. Almost as much as I love the sport function on my camera. Though it would have been nice if the trees had leaves on them, but what can you expect for April in New England?

Danielle and Arches

I guess I inadvertenly took a vacation, eh? Nothing much unusual going on with me, just the regular busy-ness, though I did go back on some medication that took a little adjustment. But, that’s a story for another post. Look for that around November.

The other thing keeping me from posting is my complete lack of new pictures. Part of that is laziness on my part, part of it is the weather not cooperating. Really, I should start carrying the camera around more often. But, until then, I shall make the effort to go back through some pictures I may have missed. Like this one, from when John’s daughter Danielle was visiting back in April.
