I went to a baseball game up the street with the awesome Canon 5D Mark II, and a 20-70 mm lens. Why? We have a 70-200 mm lens which would have worked much better! So I took pictures of a water fountain for you.

I also forgot bug spray. That might be more important to remember next time…

Another shot from the MFA in Boston. By the way, first rule of photography is don’t lose your battery charger, and bring a spare charged battery. I learned that one on this trip, so the last half of my pictures were taken on my phone.

I nearly changed the font on my watermark for this picture…

If I could steal have one painting in the whole MFA, it would be this Van Gogh.

The MFA sure does become interesting when you don’t check your camera lens and walk in with your telephoto lens on…

Yes, another picture of Spaceship Earth at night. But it’s so photogenic! And purple! And I didn’t Photoshop this at all!

I’m going through a backlog of pictures from vacation, and was almost happy with how this one turned out. After I opened it, I rotated it a little to get the fireworks to straighten up. I know I’ve done good when John looks at one of my pictures and says, “Ooh!”

I call this one a telephoto lens FTW! shot. You see, there was some sort of thing going on down at the White House when Ethan and I stopped by on our way home from Disney World. (I dunno, it was Easter.) The whole front area where tourists are usually allowed to walk by was blocked off. However, if you go up to the Washington Monument, you get a pretty darn good view of it straight on, even if you are a half mile away.
